Satul Miriştea din județul Constanța a fost și el, alături de multe alte așezări, afectat de acest proiect. În urma desființării școlii locale, transferării utilajelor agricole către comuna Mereni și presiunilor exercitate de autoritățile comuniste, satul Miriştea ajunge, în preajma Revoluției din 1989, să mai aibă doar patru case funcționale. Arhiva foto prezentată include imagini cu casele din Miriştea, realizate înainte de demolarea acestora. Fotografiile sunt probabil realizate în jurul anului 1989, dar autorul acestora rămâne necunoscut.
